March 8th is International Women’s Day. A day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. International Women’s Day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality.
In the same spirit, the second week of March at Fidelus is now “Women’s Week.” “Women’s Week” will be a week of recognition and celebration of our female workforce, as well as a reminder of what we need to do to increase the percentage of women in our organization and ensure we are treating all of our team members equitably.
An important note: 90% of nurses in the United States are women – thank you all so much for working tirelessly to take care of our families and us over the past year. We are forever grateful!
