US-Giving: Making a Positive Impact Together
The holiday season is often a special time for many of us. It’s an opportunity for us to reconnect with our loved ones, share our affection through the giving of thoughtful gifts, and maybe enjoy a well-earned break after the hustle and bustle of the year. But for many of us, it is also a time to reflect and find gratitude in our own good fortune. A time to remind ourselves to lead with compassion and share with others who may be less fortunate.
At Fidelus, we pride ourselves on intentionally cultivating a healthy and positive environment both inside and outside of our organization. It’s one of the many reasons why one of our core values as a company is to always “be passionate and make it happen”. That is why we are so proud to announce our recent partnership with Blankets of Hope in an effort to give back to our communities this year.
A Movement of Kindness
This holiday season, we want to team up with you to make a difference in our local communities with our US-Giving initiative. From now until the end of the year, we have pledged to donate 15 blankets on your behalf, equating to more than $100, for each introductory meeting scheduled with a Team Fidelus representative. These contributions will be made all the way up through the 31st of December.
Our hope is to inspire you, your colleagues, and others throughout your social and professional circles to schedule an appointment with Fidelus in the name of a great cause. Not only will you learn about the world-class benefits and services that Fidelus can provide to strengthen your organization’s enterprise IT infrastructure, but you will also be making a positive impact on the life of someone in need.
Blankets of Hope
Blankets of Hope is an educational nonprofit created to “inspire a global movement of kindness, one blanket at a time” by helping students practice empathy and kindness while providing a tangible, life-changing service. Each blanket donated through their organization is shipped directly to schools across North and South America where students participate in a kindness workshop to learn about and write messages of encouragement to those suffering from homelessness. The schools then deliver the warm blankets and children’s messages to their local homeless shelters.
In the words of Blankets of Hope, “the secret to living is giving” and inspiring our younger generations to continue serving others with compassion is one of the greatest gifts that we can give them.
